post-cynric poetry from the archives of the cornelians.

this counts for those not wanting to lose someone special…

your clocks are all set to different times,
you are ever so pessimistic,
if you wait any longer your ice cream will melt all over your hands.

they’re all unaccustomed to your delusions, so stay with me a while.

you are so self-righteous (!),
you can’t count to a million (!!),
stop getting tangled in your kite so you can fly it for once.

i love you (but, seriously)

so there is my confession, my dearest Orion. and to answer your question, no, you are not really the bane of my existence, i just say that to everyone who cuts me in line. i will not ever deny the charm of your apparent disinclination to leave me alone.

azriella, ambrosia, anneliese (forgive me, but it’s quite audacious to have a name that starts with “a”… lovely and inspiring, you know? so i have 3)

or as you know me,
despina.

from the archives of the cornelians, collected post-cynric poetry.
