Have you ever had a parent or grandparent tell you a story from their childhood? Sometimes I feel like it’s not *really* real. I mean, obviously it’s real, but it’s not as real as right now. Then I think that one day I’ll be sharing stories of “when I was a kid” (well, sometimes I do, but I get a lot of strange looks). Maybe it’s because people can’t know the relationships you had with every person in your story, so it seems a little unreal. They can’t really see how you perceived the others… hmm… I don’t know.

I don’t know if I mentioned it, but I’m leaving for Brazil on August 23. I’ll be gone for a year! This truly excites me.

A whole year! What an adventure. Just think, you’ll get to see every season and holiday, won’t miss a thing. A year in the life.
How exciting! Just think how much you’ll grow…
